WIX: How to Build A Website SEO Edition

hey everyone how’s it going in this island and today I am making a video to prove a point that you can actually rank your website on the first page of Google with Wix using what Wix offers in regards to SEO now we all know that wicks is possibly the best website editor on the internet today however I’ve had a lot of people tell me that we should be using WordPress or a different platform when it comes to optimizing our website for SEO and
rankin it better on Google Bing and Yahoo so when I heard that I wanted to make a video because believe it or not I’m a web designer and I am on the first page of Google for many keywords ah in my industry so for web design using the Wix SEO platform that they offer so how exactly did I achieve getting on the first page of Google uh using wix I mean did I really use wicks to get on the first page of Google and the answer is yes and I’m going to
prove it to you guys today so here’s my website and my website is called digital life studios where a web development agency and we design websites so how do individuals find us so individuals find us specifically on google so my keyword as a web as a developer story is london ontario web development and london ontario web design so if you look when i typed in london ontario web development wouldn’t you know it organically i am on the first three
positions of google+ and i’m also on the first two positions of google in regards to organic SEO so what I’m going to do is I’m going to try to eliminate all a comment saying hey you’re probably a Google is probably tailoring the search to you specifically can you go further and actually prove that you’re on the first page of Google using wicks so what I’m going to do is I’m going to go into a little tool that Google Offers called incognito mode
so let’s unable incognito mode so this is kind of like a private search tool that Google Offers so let’s type it in again guys london ontario web development so let’s see what comes up here comes the ads because they’re not tailored specifically to me and my area but if you realize that when the individual types in my keyword london ontario web development is there I am again london ontario web development by digital life studio and organically

totally different search engine now guys I could go even a step further and try a different browser but believe me i’m on the first page so i’m going to now dive into kind of how you can position your website to get the same results as i did using wicks and using what Wix offers in regards to SEO and yes they have an absolutely amazing SEO platform that complements their website editor so if you are in your website’s editor all you have to do is
at the top just go to settings I’m insights sword and you’ll have a little drop-down menu that comes up what we want to do is we want to scroll all the way down to site manager once we click site manager another window will pop up and you will be introduced to your site manager here you can kind of go over everything on your site as an overview but on the left-hand side you’ll notice that a domain and SEO our options so what we want to do is we
want to select SEO once you select SEO you’ll notice that you will be introduced to the SEO section of Wix SEO also stands for search engine optimization and an optimization part is on us we can optimize it using a techniques and tricks but I’ll explain right in here how Wix allows us and offers a step-by-step guide on how to really maximize our SEO so what we want to do is by default the SEO status should always be on ok if it’s off that means
Google big Yahoo MSN whatever a search engines lrr out there will not actually index you so you won’t show up unless this is triggered on unlabeled so I know for a fact by default is already on but just double check just in case so what we want to do is we want to improve your websites SEO so get step-by-step tips on how to improve your websites SEO step by step I really like that because that means at any level whether you’re a novice
intermediate or you’re an advanced Wix user you can help on your website perform better by following the steps that Wix offers on to you so let’s go ahead and use the SEO wizard once we select that button what will happen is Wix will introduce you to the Wix SEO wizard and monitoring tools so basically what this tool really is it allows you to type in a key phrase that you want to rank so if you’re a used car salesman and you live in London
Ontario for example you would type in my phrases used cars london ontario or london ontario used cars so that’s a key phrase for me specifically because i am in the web industry I my key phrase is London Ontario web design and I’m going to say wix can you please help me step by step optimize my website for that word because that’s what I want to come up when the user types in London Ontario web design I would really like to come up first if
possible so let’s get the report and let’s see what wicks tells me about this specific keyword now I’m gonna give you guys a spoiler alert I’ve already done the SEO Oh so for some reason I had a little crash I think my inner temporarily disabled but uh there we go so um spoiler alert again guys I’ve already gone ahead and absolutely optimized my website handsome on the first page but you will be introduced to this little report here and you can
get the full report I’ll go into a very soon but um this report will go step by step on everything that Google is looking for in regards to your website so when I want to when a user types of London Ontario web design uh what this will do is they will tailor a report for you that will say hey if you change these following elements you will be more likely to come up first and Google will tell the user oh you must be referring to ah digital life
studios because our key phrases are in the title our key phrases are in the description our page content is about our key phrase our images are about the key phrase so this right here will guide you step-by-step so the average user who’s just getting into this will actually have an X here I have check box but let’s say you did have an X here so uh what you’ll realize is you will see that there’s a read more option here and what we want to do is
we want to click read more on every single piece of element here that wicks is telling us to to look into so if we click on read more about the page title and if we had an X for example this is what will open up we will open up the wicks support section and it will give you again changing your page title step by steps one two three four five step by step on how to change these settings to your keyword and I promise you if you guys make an effort
on this and and go through every single piece so for example description how do we change the description well let’s read more on how to change the description the article will come up one more time and to change a page description all you do is follow these steps click on pages click the relevant page show me more page SEO so step by step honestly so simple guys check this out all I do is simply go to my page go to a little bland right here and
go to page SEO and Willa Here I am what’s the page title on search on the search engine what’s the description what are the key words and am i hiding this from SEO very simple honestly guys I’m not going to dive into too much about the Advanced section of the SEO but more of an review and approving point really that wicks is an industry leading website platform of development platform and they also offer an industry-leading SEO platform and it’s
been proven many times by a bunch of my friends that have ranked their website on the first page and I have ranked so many people on the first page of Google for their keyword using this so I am a huge supporter of anyone who wants to go ahead and get a website on the first page of Google to use Wix don’t eliminate wicks believe me it can do as equal as a better job if not better than WordPress or any other development software that’s out there
so this has been my review personally of wicks and and what it offers in regards to SEO of course I’d give it a 10 out of 10 because I am on the first page but if you guys have any questions in regards to how to optimize your website a little better there is a great tool out there and it’s called support a wix and what basically you can do is you can actually go into the support center here and you can uh once you’re in the support section you
can obviously go into any support section you want there’s a lot of tips a lot of tricks a lot of support there’s a support team you can submit a ticket anytime but SEO and Sun stats right here if you click on that you’ll notice that there’s so many s do basics that you can learn about and then there’s SEO advanced that you can learn about so I don’t knock it till you try it guys I promise you if you put in the effort you definitely will get on
the first page and this is just a review I won’t get into the SEO too much advanced stuff today but later on I’ll probably make a video about how to optimize your website to definitely get on the first page are using advanced tactics but this is an overview just claiming that yes one hundred percent you can get on the first page of Google using wicks and using what Wix offers in regards to SEO so I hope you guys had all an amazing New Year’s than
