In this video you will learn the method of installing a GoDaddy issued SSL on a GoDaddy’s cPanel hosting account.
In my case shown in this video, I have purchased the SSL certificate from one GoDaddy account and the website/Domain is hosted on another GoDaddy account. So, here we are dealing with two different DoDaddy Accounts. During the whole SSL setup and Installation process these are the four major steps that we actually follow:
1. Generate a CSR(Certificate Signing Request) for the domain you want the SSL for
2. Obtain and Download the SSL certificate issued by the issuing authority
3. Upload the SSL Certificate onto the actual hosting server where the website is hosted
4. Install the SSL certificate on the Specific site or Domain it’s issued to
Now in case you have already installed this GoDaddy issued SSL on a website/Domain and now you have decided that you want to use this same SSL for another domain not for the Original one it was initially issued for, You can re-key the existing SSL for another domain and install it for the second one.
