hi I'm Mike Hansen from the open exchange product marketing department like to welcome you to the ops tutorial series today we're going to cover some of the features and functions within ops app suite and the applications they're in hope you enjoyed the series the portal is a customized dashboard on to your digital life it comprises a number of widgets of varying types the widget types available to you will vary depending on your account but in general the widgets available to you are your inbox appointments tasks a variety of social feeds such as Facebook LinkedIn Twitter etc our assess feeds of any type and ops files items such as graphics or documents etc as I said there are a number of other types depending on your account so let us look at how to add a social feed to your portal our in this case we'll choose Twitter since it's not on my portal at the moment there are several ways to do this but the easiest way is as follows first of all go into your portal click on portal and you'll see the widgets that you have currently in there the next stage is to press customise this page this drops you into the settings area and directly into your portal settings here you'll see the widgets that you currently have available and have currently configured before we can add Twitter we first need to add the social account into opps app suite itself and integrate it so before we do that we must click on mail and social accounts here you can see I have several social accounts already set up an email systems I now need to add my Twitter account to add Twitter I simply press add and I select Twitter from the list available as I say this will also vary depending on your account I select Twitter and it immediately asked me to authorize access to my Twitter account when I click authorize this app it will ask me for my credentials for Twitter in this case I'm already logged into Twitter so it won't it'll just automatically authorize me it's saying I'm authorized and Twitter has been added to my list of integrated social accounts I can now add the portal widget to my portal so if I go back to the portal settings you'll see that we're here but there is no Twitter account at the moment I need to press the add widget button and now Twitter appears in my list I can add Twitter Twitter is now automatically configured at the first first space and it's selected in blue if I now go back to the portal I'll see the Twitter widget on my portal here you can see Twitter has now been added as a portal widget I have a quick preview of what's been tweeted in Twitter at the moment I can see my top four or five tweets if I want to look deeper into it I can just click on the widget itself and it pulls up what we call the halo view the halo view now gives me full access to Twitter I can say I want to follow somebody by clicking the follow button or I can say I want to submit my own tweet I can click on that and the tweet is normally submitted if I wish to move the portal widget I can simply drag and drop it from one location to the next and I'm notified that it saved my portal is now fixed and fully customized in the same way I added Twitter I can add other social feeds and I can add other widgets of varying times that concludes the quick tutorial on the portal thank you very much you .
