in this video we're going to be taking a look at how to install WordPress using fantastical let's begin by first logging on to our cPanel to do this go to your address bar in your browser and type in your domain name followed by a forward slash and the word C pin it enter when you're ready to proceed know if your domain name is not yet configured to work with your hosting account you may refer to the welcome email that you received when setting up the hosting account which will include a temporary URL and an IP address to your server you may use those details to log into your cPanel however it is highly recommended that you first configure your domain so as to make the process much more streamlined and user friendly type in your username and password into the cPanel login screen when you are ready to proceed click the login button once inside of your cpanel look for the fantastical icon which is located under the software slash services section it looks like a blue happy face let's click on it to proceed once inside a fantastical look for the WordPress option and click on it next press the new installation link if you have multiple domain names configured with your hosting account be sure to select the proper domain name from the pulldown menu if you would like WordPress to be installed in a subdirectory of that domain be sure to type in the name of that directory here next type in an administrator username this is the username that you will use to log in to your WordPress dashboard next provide a new password that you will use to log into WordPress this can be a completely different password than the one you use to log into your cPanel next you will provide an admin nickname this is typically your full name Fantastico also attempts to guess your email address however if this is not correct be sure to provide one that actually works next you'll need to provide a site name and lastly provide a description for your website when you are ready to install WordPress click the install WordPress button on this screen you can see the results of what's going to happen when you click the finish installation button if everything looks fine click the finish installation button to proceed the results of your installation are displayed on this screen at this point your wordpress installation is fully installed if you go to your website congratulations you now have WordPress installed on your website and are ready to proceed to modify it and build the website of your dreams .
