you may be wondering how do I transfer my domain from GoDaddy to Bluehost and I'm going to show you how to do that today so first what you want to do is login to GoDaddy as you can see I'm already logged into GoDaddy so I'm going to click on my name up here and I'm going to click on manage domains and you will see here that I have two domains so I'm going to go to my domain settings and you'll have to do this for each domain that you want to transfer to Bluehost and here we go it's set to automatically renew so what I'm gonna do first is see that says domain lock I'm going to turn that off for each domain what I want to do is click get authorization code here then I'm going to check my email again okay so you will get an email from GoDaddy with a very long confirmation code in it and you're going to want to copy and paste that code to your clipboard you're going to need that for Bluehost so I'm logged in to Bluehost I'm going to go to my domains and for the sake of brevity I'm only going to choose one domain show you so I'm going to transfer this domain to make out okay so here's the code that GoDaddy emailed me I'm just gonna paste it in there so as you can see here because I have a private domain they are not sure if I will get this verification email so I'm gonna go to my email and check okay so I got the email from Bluehost with the code in it put it in there and this is all done for your protection it's so that no one can steal your domain name it's very secure process okay so here you can just basically go and choose what you want here also edit and this is all private okay so here we go so now all you have to do is click that button and it's going to go through it all so I'm going to show you how to export your codes that you need in case you don't get the emails from GoDaddy and this was something they showed me how to do on support so I'm on the domain page all domains then you're gonna go to more export list and I'm on the third view here advanced list view this is the only view that you can see this export so just name it whatever you want and I'm gonna choose all domains here click Next then this is what you need to do go down to authorization code click Next and I just left it unzipped probably not considered secure to do that but I'm lazy so that's what I did so you hit finish it'll email it to you and you will have your codes hopefully that saves you some time and if my tutorial helped you please sign up using my Bluehost link and I do get a small kickback and referral from that but it's no charge to you and I hope that you'll consider doing that to help support me to provide these tutorials for you you .
