hi guys is it just from a traffic Global calm today we'll be teaching you how to transfer your domain name from Namecheap to Hostgator ok first open up namecheap.com as soon as you've opened it up please go to your dashboard here you will see all the domain names your purchase as you can see have other ones that I purchased so now we'll choose the domain name that you want to manage I'll choose mature as you chocolates for now ok when you're on this page you'll see your name servers right here as you can see it's already set up to Hostgator but this is where you'll be putting in your name service ok so now we'll need you to open your cPanel your cPanel should be at Hostgator calm okay when you're here please scroll down and you should see your name service they should be at the bottom here as you can see have a matching name service once you have them go back to namecheap.com and copy them into here ok once you have changed them save okay you should get this pop-up saying the DNS Ava may take up to 48 hours it usually only takes two to three hours but it may take longer depending on your situation now go back to Hostgator as you have already set up the DNS okay now you at the bottom click on add-on domains here this is where you'll enter your domain name so and similar colors calm or automatically choose your subdomain you can change that if you want and your password as well okay then you'll click Add on domain as you can see already exists let me use something a different domain yeah let's just use this domain for tutorial purposes okay here we go now if everything's right you should get this notification now that's how you set up your domain name give it a couple hours and check if it works usually should work if you followed everything correctly okay that's all for today if you enjoyed this tutorial like comment and subscribe so you can be in a know-how of the latest updates and guides see you next time .

NAMECHEAP – STAGE 1
Step 1: Log into your Namecheap account and click the top left user id dropdown menu.
Step 2: Select the domain you would like to set up your new DNS name servers for. Click “MANAGE” to the right of the domain you selected.
Step 3: Scroll down until you see “NAMESERVERS”. These two lines will be where you will enter your custom DNS servers from Hostgator.
HOSTGATOR – STAGE 2
1: Log into your Hostgator Cpanel, and scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see a tab on the left called “Account Information”. Under this tab you will see your name servers. They will look something like this:
NAMECHEAP – STAGE 3
Step 1: Go back to your Namecheap domain manage page and enter the two name servers on the two dotted lines. Click the green tick on the right to save.
(It could take up to 48 hours for the DNS change to take effect. On average it updates in around 3 hours for me.)
HOSTGATOR – STAGE 4
Step 1: Finally go back to your Hostgator Cpanel, scroll down until you see the domains tab. Here you will see an icon named “Addon Domains”. The link will take you to a new page in the Cpanel.
Step 2: Fill in as following:
New Domain Name: mytrafficglobal.com (the domain name you have have chosen)
Subdomain or FTP Username: mytrafficglobal (Autofill)
Document Root: public_html/mytrafficglobal.com (Autofill)
Obviously don’t use my domain, its just there for format example.
Step 3: Now create a password for you to log in.
Final Step: Finally click “Add Domain” to save your new domain name, and viola. You have completed transferring your domain ,and adding a domain name using name cheap and Hostgator.
