How To Set Your Own Fonts – WIX Website Tutorial

hang everyone this tutorial I’m going to take you through now is all about how to change the fonts on your Wix website and how to set the theme for your fonts as well because we know it’s so important to get those fonts right and it’s so easy to then replicate content once you’ve got it set and you like it so it’s one of those tricks I use to speed up the process and it definitely helps you produce content quicker and I think keep the whole
thing in unison which is the biggest down voice there with a lot of Wix websites there’s definitely that lack of continuity across all of the pages so this will help you achieve that so to set the fonts up all you’re going to do is pop font on your on your website so here I’ve just taken one of the Wix templates so I’m just going to take a random bit of text and I’m going to double click I apologize everyone my internet is going a little bit slow
today edit text and what you’ll have here it’s behaving for me is your themes and then this is the top bit that you want to look at and you can see what is actually set up for you so heading one is a 16 point in this font heading 2 is a 30 point in this font and so on and so forth until you get all the way down to your paragraph fonts paragraph 1 2 and 3 okay it’s even showing you the color so we’ve got some I think it’s a very dark grade so
quite black got gold black dark grey gold gold okay that’s what’s currently set up as you can see at the moment this piece of text is if I just click either a heading 4 so if I decide that I want to change it to a heading 3 it changes the font because that’s the preset that’s in there so just change the preset to the heading 3 for example we’re going to change the font I’m going to change it to anything and we’re set to forum and straight away it
says to be saved theme and that means forum at 60 point in that color is going to be saved to heading 3 if I go ahead and click Save thing it’s going to ask me in my Shore because it is going to change it everywhere that heading three appears on my site so one click Save and now that’s my new heading three so if I change it to heading for then I go back to heading three it looks like that that I’ve set up okay so um it doesn’t matter how you set
these up in terms of size but my general rule is paragraph one two and three they’re all the same font but paragraph one is bigger and then you go smaller and smallest paragraph one and two of the main ones you’re going to use paragraph three might be four tiny little bits and say you foot are all little disclaimers and things like that again I like that sort of order with having one through two six I’m going your largest at any one and down how
is that though you’re heading one is um it’s all very heavy on your SEO so it’s definitely whatever suits your SEO the best and maybe had the be a heading doesn’t suit that so again it’s just about how your site is set up I also like all my headings to be the same color and then all my paragraph font to be the same color and I will explain a little bit better headings color a whatever that is and paragraph font color B whatever that is so I don’t
like there to be three different paragraph colors and six different heading colors it just does not work okay so I’m just going to you through that one more time select whichever heading or paragraph you want change then pick a random new font confirm the size and change the size confirm the color you can change the color it’ll pop up saying save then confirm that you want to do that and click Save if that doesn’t occur fee sometimes I’m
designing and that doesn’t pop up no II just means I’m gonna save and shut down and go back in two weeks again and and sometimes that can be a little bit too long on the site and it doesn’t like it that’s just some little glitchy things it happens just go to be patient with that I hope this helps guys any questions about fonts simply pop them in to comments below and always look to these fonts especially when you’re designing with some of the
