hi everybody in this video we're going to look at how to reinstall WordPress on a domain where you already have WordPress installed inside Bluehost so the point of this is that you know the situation is I have a website already up and running and I have a theme there and this is what it looks like if you go to my current site Jonathan Hartwig calm at the time of this recording and you could see I've installed some theme that I don't really like and it didn't install correctly and you know I'm just having trouble with it you know it did import very well and I don't really want to spend time fixing this so I'm gonna just reinstall WordPress on here and get it get a fresh start so the first thing I want to do is I'm gonna want to log into my Bluehost cPanel cPanel is your control panel so I'm on my Bluehost cPanel I'm gonna scroll down to WordPress and I'm gonna click on that guy and I'll just give it a second here to load Wow give it a long second to load it's great give it a really long second to load Wow just let it think all day okay finally you can see the sites where I already have WordPress installed I've got WordPress on build a wordpress blog Jonathan Hartwig calm and I'm just gonna go down to WordPress where it says 3.5 point one and click on that guy this is what we want to select here and give that another really long second to load and we want to install this okay so I want to install a brand new version I click on this green button install actually I can do this a lot faster than it can load right you know we're always waiting on technology right it's gonna ask me where I'd like to install WordPress now I'm gonna tell it I want to put it on Jonathan Hartwig comm and I'm gonna select the one at the WW Jonathan Hartwig calm I don't want to select anything else here or I will erase whatever's there that would be bad so I want Jonathan Hardwick calm and I'm gonna make this Jonathan Hartwig my site title is and wanted to appear to Google and I want to uncheck things that I don't want yada yada yada and I have other legal implications of this okay maybe just go back and review one more time to make sure you're not over overwriting anything important here just to make sure you've gotten the right domain because if you have several that's an issue okay so now it's saying Jonathan Hartwig comm already has stuff there well you just saw I've got a website up there I've got WordPress installed on it so it says you're gonna overwrite everything there bear in mind if you overwrite everything there it will be gone unless you've backed it up somewhere else it will be gone but you are basically erasing everything that's there and I'm starting from scratch okay so I'm gonna go here and I'm going to click on all these things and let it know sure enough yeah I know I'm gonna overwrite it and we're gonna click on complete and we're gonna let the computer do some thinking for just a minute here okay this is the screen where it's actually installing WordPress so you can see it's going through this process right now of installing it and there's a little a good amount of back-and-forth that's happening between my computer and Bluehost servers so it takes a little bit here hopefully not that hot minute that we just experienced a second ago but it's pretty quick typically I feel like a jerk for saying it's pretty quick this is the longest I've ever seen it take still going it's usually quicker than this apologizing for it there you go now you can see it gave me my password again and it gave me this login so like before when we first installed WordPress let's go here bookmark this if you're not used to it you know I had a different password there before so I have to put this new one in actually they gave me and I'm gonna go change that my earliest convenience and log in to the backend but now if you go to Jonathan Hartwig calm it's erased everything is brand spanking new here so that's how we do it thanks for watching guys .
