hi Claude pull on here from affiliate starting line and mastermind bros coach in part 1 of registering a domain name we learned how to come to namecheap come in here to the type box type in a domain name we were looking for search for it select it by clicking here adding it to our cart paying our 969 by selecting a standard check out and if we had an account that we would log in and do that if we didn't have an account we'd set one up and that was part one in part two now that we own the domain what we're going to do is come into our account what you see here go to manage domains manage domains will bring us to a screen like this where we'll find our domain right here and this n to the next step is to click on this domain i'm going to do i'm not going to go to the next screen because i have some personal information but click on it and it will take you to a screen that will offer you your domain name and your information but what I'm pointing want to point out is right up here on the left-hand sidebar there's going to be a tab that says transfer DNS to web host you'll click on that click on transfer DNS to web host and it will bring you to this screen right here now you'll notice here that down here are some input boxes one there's five of them you're going to want to take box one and two and put in the information that you get from your web host company when you first sign up with them and in that email will be your login information for your web host company and the two designated servers that will be assigned to your account those two designated servers will have a number like or and designation like ms 123 hostgator.com and then generally i'm making this up ms 12 for Hostgator in this case dot-com you'll enter that information into these two boxes and will only be two service or left to worry about then you'll come down here and click Save Changes now once you've done that it'll process that come back in this case it's not going to be able to find them because I made these numbers up you'll have a confirmation your two numbers will be in these boxes and you'll wait a few minutes and your redirect for your domain to your web host will be done that's how you direct your domain to your web host there are a couple of web host companies one is called Hostgator that's the one I use right here that's what the cPanel in back office of Hostgator looks like in the case of hostmonster it looks like this it's very similar both these companies will give you information that you'll need in order to register your domain and redirect that domain to them when you register with them and so you keep that that email that you get from them in a safe place because you'll be needing the numbers of your web server your domains name servers handy so that's it that's how you redirect your domain to your host you want to make sure that you click on the transfer to DNS webhost tab once you have entered into the screen for your domain name I hope this has been helpful this is claude B'Elanna at affiliate starting line stay with it stay well and we'll follow up next with how you set up your cpanel and what a cPanel is in part 3 that's it stay well stay with it talk to you soon you .
