hello this is David with songwriters marketplace calm in this tutorial we will be talking about pointing your domain name to Bluehost calm and if you've watched my earlier tutorials on registering a domain you should have registered your domain hopefully and you'll be set to go on this tutorial first thing we have to do is be at the godaddy page which we are on right now and you'll have to sign in so we'll click on the Sign In put in your username and enter your password once you enter you'll be taken right to your account page and the top bar as you see right off the bat is domains that go over to the right side we see the green button manage and click on that that will take you to the list of your domain names if you have more than one in this case I'm going to go right to the bottom of the list to one that I just registered for demonstration purposes for this tutorial and it's view and do calm now when you locate what you're going to be working with your domain name then you just go ahead and click on it and it will take you to the page where you can manage the name servers and as you go straight down the left side you'll see name servers right here click on the link that says manage it will bring up a box and you're going to come up here and click on custom once you've clicked on custom drop down to the bottom and click on add name server it'll bring up another box and here is where you're going to add the blue host name servers now there's two of them and so what you want to enter is number one would be n s1 dot bluehost.com the second one very similar slightly different ns2 dot bluehost.com once you've had those entered in go ahead and click ok check to make sure they're okay once again and save now that you've pointed your domain name over to Bluehost by changing your name servers you will be able to go over to Bluehost and open your account there and load up WordPress on to the server and have your domain name come up on your new website and in the next tutorial we'll be going over exactly how you go about setting up your Bluehost account and setting up WordPress on the account and getting your website going and I'll see you over there I hope this was helpful and see in the next tutorial once again this is David Dodds with songwriters marketplace com take care see you soon .
