hi guys today's how-to is how to point your domain from GoDaddy to Bluehost so I'm assuming by now that you've already obtained your domain via GoDaddy and you've obtained your hosting package from Bluehost and now what you'd like to do is take one or several of your domains that you have there at GoDaddy and point them towards Bluehost so you don't actually have to transfer them over and incur the incur additional fees I mean you can just go ahead and change the name servers and it's the process is very simple and that's what I'm going to show you today so go ahead and login to your GoDaddy account you'll see this screen come up all you need to do is launch your domains select the domain that you would like to point over to Bluehost for your hosting package let's do I am Speedway today you can go ahead and click here and select name servers or you could check here name servers as you notice that there's usually multiple ways to get to the same information very simple all you have to do is go in and edit the current name servers make sure that you go from standard to custom and if you have cash parking with with GoDaddy this will already be populated for you all you need to do is go in there and edit the names with Bluehost their name server is ns1 make sure to remove the 0 if that was happened if that happened to be in there bluehost.com okay here you're gonna do ns2 got Bluehost I can't today bluehost.com hit okay and you save okay now it will take about five to five minutes to 15 minutes for the changes to reflect globally it usually doesn't take that long meanwhile you can add this domain to your Bluehost account and if you don't know how to do that check out my next video because I will show you until then talk to you later bye bye .

Video Discription

How to point a domain from GoDaddy to BlueHost. You don't have to transfer every domain to your hosting provider. Here is how you get a domain you purchased from one provider to your hosting provider with transferring. Remember after you "point the domain" you then have to log into your hosting provider and "assign" the domain". See my video on how to Assign a Domain in Bluehost.
