HOW TO MAKE A WIX WEBSITE 2021 – Simple & Easy

get started number one so um by the way earlier it used to be that people used to get their domain name from a different website they need to they had to install a specific software on their on their web building platform so they used to do all those things and and they used to Club and have a website and lucky for us it’s 2018 and the process is easier than ever and so for our step 1 step 2 step 3 we only need one solution which is Wix what is

than 500 stunning professional looking templates which are mobile-friendly initially even I felt building a website as home very weak thing but trust me it’s not at all difficult if you need help with any step along the way please feel free to comment any questions you may have and I’ll do my best to help you out so let’s get started so step one please click the link in the video description once you click on the link in the video description you
will see the screen you click on get started and now we sign up here if you if you already have an account you can enter your account here and we click on sign up and we enter your email address now I’m gonna enter my password all right I’m gonna click on sign up let’s click on let’s do it and it’s gonna ask you a couple of questions if you want you can enter the answers here or you can click on skip and over here Wix provides two options one is
the artificial intelligence software it automatically builds the website for you yes that’s right you enter a couple of questions according to your answers it’s gonna build a beautiful looking website for you and here we have we can do that manually so we’re gonna select that we’re gonna click on choose a template so on the left side we have categories you can select business and it’s gonna show you the business templates and so these are the
beautiful looking business templates here and then we have online store you can select you can build your own store using this and so and we have the photography niche over here and all the aspiring photographers they can select this one over here whichever they like and we have many options available over here in the categories section and today we are gonna select I like this one over here so we’re gonna click on edit all right so here we have
the editor page this is the drag-and-drop editor I will be explaining you the steps along the way so that you understand how if you want to edit something or if you want to move things how you can do that so please don’t get overwhelmed by all these menus it’s a it’s very very easy and in the next few minutes you’re gonna find that out so let’s see here so this is our template and now so we have the main home page and in that we have the About
section and then we have the portfolio section of the video photographer and then in the end we have the contact us section and so if we move to the top let’s get started so this background image if you want to change it you can easily do that you just click on change strip background can you click on image and then you’re gonna click on upload and I’ll have the images stored over here I’m gonna select my image I’m going to click on open it’s
gonna upload and when it’s done you’re gonna click on change background alright it’s as simple as this guys so the background has changed alright so now that we have changed the background if you want to change the text over here you just click on it double click on it and delete the text and if you want to change the name to let’s say we I’m going to change it to lock Charlotte lock and so you can keep it like this or if you want to have it the
same you can undo it so there you go so that’s how you can change the name and so if you want to add a new clip art if you don’t like this clipart you’re gonna click on it and you’re gonna press the delete button so now that it’s deleted now let’s add a new clip out alright so for adding a new clip art we click on add on the left hand side of the menu and in this we have many categories we’re gonna select on the second one which is image and in
that we have a category called subcategory called free works club we’re gonna click on that and over here there are lots of free images lots of free Wix clip arts which are free for its users so we’re gonna scroll down till we find a one which suits our template well we gotta select the one which suits our template let’s see I’m gonna select alright I’m gonna select this one so I select this I click on Add page and it’s over here no I’m gonna
resize it and let’s see ok yeah that’s fine and I’m gonna move it I’m gonna hold it down and I’m gonna all right so now I’m gonna change the color of the clear bottle yep so I’m gonna click on it and then I’m gonna see the settings over here so I’m gonna click on this option which is called filters and I’m gonna click on fade it so that it matches for the white color of the text and of the team and we’re gonna click on save we’re gonna close this
we don’t want to publish it yet so there you go eyes it’s as simple as that you can change the clipart and you can change the text so now that we have changed the background we have changed the text we have changed the clipart now let’s move further now we have the About section over here so over here we’re gonna change the image I’m gonna select this image over here and I’m gonna click on choose image all right and so we have some text over here
we can replace this text so I have already made my about me text so I’m gonna select that and I’m gonna double click on this text alright so now that we have editor edited our above section so let’s move on to the next one so this is the portfolio portfolio section so what what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna delete the entire portfolio and I’m gonna show you how we can do this step by step so what I’m gonna do I’m gonna click on this and I’m gonna
press Delete all right so I have deleted the portfolio section over here so that I’ll show you how we can add a portfolio section in here underneath the about me so we’re gonna go to add over here and then we are gonna go to gallery and then we can select any option from here let’s say we’re gonna select this one so I’m gonna just drag and drop so now that we have our gallery section we can manage the media and let’s go select the images that we
want so these are the images which are already selected so I’m going to deselect all of them and I’m going to click on add media and I’m gonna click on image so over here we can either add images from our from our site from our computer so we’re going to click on upload image that’s one option so I’m gonna select few images and I’m gonna upload them so it’s adding four files and I’m going to show you the other way as well directly from Wix so the
images are uploaded so I’m going to click on done and I’m gonna show you the other way over here so you see the sections so we’re gonna click on free from weights so these are all the free images just like the clip arts and they have many sections many categories do from which you can choose from so I’m going to just go in here in the search box I’m going to type wedding because we are building a website for our wedding photographer so we’re
gonna select the images that we like and so we just select it and let’s see all right and let’s click on add to page so I have added 10 items alright so now that our images are uploaded so we’re gonna delete the ones which we don’t want in our gallery and I’m gonna do that for all the remaining items all right so I have selected the images and I’m gonna click on done alright so the images have loaded up and we have our beautiful gallery over
here so this is the portfolio section that we have built in and so now if we scroll down we have the space and then we have this beautiful image with the text so now what we gonna do is we gonna so you see the this button over here on the top right hand corner so we’re gonna click on that so what it’s gonna do is it’s gonna show us our website and we’re gonna delete the space over here by just clicking on this button delete space now that’s
deleted now we can look at our website so we have our home about me and then we have our gallery and now let’s go forward so we’re gonna click on the close button and let’s move forward to the next section so this one I’m gonna keep it like this and over here I’m gonna show you how you can change the contact section so I’m gonna completely delete it even this one over here I’m gonna completely delete it so now we don’t have anything in the
contact section so what we’re gonna do is you’re gonna go over here we’re gonna click on add and then we’re gonna go to the strip and then you’re gonna scroll down let’s say we like this one over here so we can just drag and drop it’s as simple as that guys so now we can change this image you can change the background you’re gonna select image and I’m gonna select this one so now the image is changed what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna bring this
contact us and this address and there’s clipart to the right hand side and I’m gonna move this contact box a little to the bottom so let’s move the social bar a little down and then I’m gonna move the contact form yep right there and then I’m gonna move this text do this side here all right and then I’m gonna move the address over here all right and this background I’m gonna change the background and I’m gonna just change it to color I’m going to
just click on white and I’m gonna close it so now I’m gonna move this small clip art to this side here all right so that it’s at the center and now I’m gonna adjust the address a little all right that’s that’s good and I’m gonna move the clip art all right that’s good now we can change the contact form in here so we just click on it we go to settings so you can change this name section and you can just uncheck it and it would go V just like that
if you selected it’s you know it’s gonna come back and here you’re gonna enter your email address so the users who fill out this contact form they will be sending it to this email address so that’s done and you can also put a message over here for the users so over here we are gonna go to design and here we can select easy if I’m just scrolling my cursor on top of the contact forms it shows me a preview so we can select the one which we like and
so there are lots and lots of options so these are beautiful professional-looking contact forms so I’m gonna select this one here I’m gonna close it all right perfect so now that our contact us is built okay so let’s move forward now you see this stop menu on the top right so home about portfolio and contact are in the home page now if someone clicks on about he’s gonna get redirected to this about me page and using this anchor so the way you can
add anchors to your website is by going over here to add and then you could do more and you have the anchor over here you just drag it and you just rename it to the name that you want like it over here they have added it to about so we are not gonna do that we are just gonna delete it and we can just gonna undo that all right so that’s gone and I will also be teaching you guys that how when customer clicks on a powder coat for your contact how
they will be redirected to these anchors automatically so now let’s look at the menu so we have oh and to the right of it you see these three buttons we click on it and we have many options over here we can rename it we can add a duplicate of it we can hide it so that it’s not visible in the menu so take for example you don’t want book online you want to delete that option from your website you go to menu you click on the three dots and you click
on hide as simple as that so now if you look on the top we only have own about what will your contact and client albums now so this is the extra page that’s on the website so I’m gonna show you how we can edit this so we go to menu we go to client albums it’s loading up okay so these are the albums that can be created so I’m gonna show you quickly so this is called the wicks photo albums let’s get started all right so what kind of photo album do
you want to create a wedding let’s click Next add your album information we’re gonna select you’re gonna type anything we want and we’re gonna click on next so we’re gonna select the collage take for example this one here I’m gonna select next and then we’re gonna upload our media let’s see I’m gonna select I’ve selected the album’s I’m gonna click on create your photo album your photos are uploading alright let’s click on correct alright guys so
our photos are uploaded and they you beautiful this is how you add new albums so we have added one album over here so we can add more if you want to and why we just go to photo albums and we have the option to click on new photo album so we have the more clients we have we can publish the pictures over here and so it’s as simple as that so let’s go back so now let’s go back to our homepage and now that we have created our home about portfolio
contact client albums let’s click on publish all right now we’re gonna click on fuel side all right so now we have our site published as you can see it looks beautiful so this is our home screen and if we scroll down we have our About section if you scroll further we have our beautiful gallery of portfolio and then if you scroll further we have our Contact Us page beautiful guys so now we have the option to click on back to top it will take us
right right there so now I’m gonna show you so if you click on about it’s gonna take us to this About section using our anchor link so we click on about there you it’s gonna automatically take you to the About section it’s beautiful and we have our contact section we click on contact it’s gonna right away take us to contact it’s beautiful do you see guys it’s as easy as it can get now we click on client albums so this was the one album that we
created and we’re gonna click on it and they you it looks beautiful we wanna click on View photos the pictures the users can click on the pictures they can share it so it’s very easy it looks beautiful it looks professional and you can customize it to the way you want and how you want so let’s close this let’s close the photo album page as well and let’s go back to the Wix editor so I’m gonna show you one more thing here so on the top right-hand
side we have the mobile section if we click on that it will automatically show us the mobile view off the website and we can see how it looks on a mobile and we can adjust the things we can delete any spaces which we don’t want so this this is another feature of Wix which gives the user of flexibility in terms of design so you know now Wix is showing us all the features you’re gonna click on skip this and I’m just gonna show you how it looks so
over here we can also edit in the mobile view so this is how when the user will be checking this website this is how it’s gonna look it looks beautiful now over here in the mobile section if you make any changes they’re not gonna reflect on our website take for example you wanna remove this this tingle over here what you can do is you can just click on hide section and once you have done that so this empty space we’re gonna delete it all right
and it’s as simple as that all right so this is our desktop view so as you can see guys we can build a beautiful-looking custom professional website in very easy and simple steps so you might have understood by watching this video it’s a very easy process using Wix and they have many options available over here you can add new text if you want you can add your code so if you go do more you can go to HTML and you can embed your own code as well
and you can build your own online store so there are a limited options available all right guys so it’s as easy as it can get it’s whether you want to build a blog whether you want to build an online store whether you want to build an online business website it’s very easy using the Wix platform I would definitely recommend Wix because it’s incredibly easy to use it has advanced features included like SEO which I will be showing you in a another
