hi it's Stacy and I just wanted to take a brief moment to show you how to make your website domain be used on your say you have hosting with Hostgator and you but you bought your domain name from GoDaddy for example so I want to show you how to integrate that simply go and log in to your domain your domains and select the domain that you want to set up so say for instance I choose this one I click on the dot-dot-dot in my domains and I hit manage don't DNS I wait for it to load the records and then you'll see how the records are shown as last updated and I have a record a cname record some NS records as the domain controller here through GoDaddy because right now it's parked through GoDaddy and then I want to be able to change these name servers here so that so that now my web host who's gonna be hostgator.com they are going to be the ones that are going to manage this domain so it's no longer going to be records once I changed once I changed these name servers then all the records will all these records here will go away and I will no longer need that information so I will go back and I will show you what it will look like once I do change it over to Hostgator so I'm going back to my domains and then I will go over say to 10-hour success.com and I'll click on the dot dot dot and go to managed DNS and it'll take a second to come up and once it does come up its gonna display this notice we can't display your DNS information because your name servers aren't managed by us so since I changed and I entered the name servers here to reflect Hostgator then I no longer will have a record records from GoDaddy so if you need to change your hosting if say for instance you change your hosting plan or you change who who's gonna do your web hosting then you'll just click on change and you'll enter the information there okay all right well that was a real quick overview of how to change your name servers in GoDaddy so that you can use a web hosting from Hostgator thanks for watching and I'll see you next time .
