hey there it's gel at listening va.com today I installed a premium team which is Avada team it looks really nice and all the functionalities that I wanted for my website is provided by the theme however I have a problem the theme requires me to change the PHP maximum execution time and the maximum input variable this could happen to you if you ever installed other themes or plugins that requires you to change this default limits and the solution may be different depending on your hosting plan if you don't want to get your hands dirty with the codes then I suggest you just contact your web hosting and request for a change of this limit but of course that will take about 30 minutes to an hour or two hours of waiting and you just don't have time to wait so here's a fast solution by the way I'm using GoDaddy economy package which is a shared hosting here's how I solve my problem you just have to go to your file manager and in the root folder which is forward slash public underscore HTML create a new file with a name of dot user dot ini' make sure that there's a dot before the user in E because you might get easily confused with this theme so once you have this new files edited and paste the code here the code is in the description of this video below that you can copy you just have to change the value depending on what your theme or plugin recommends in my case my theme requires 300 for the maximum execution time and 1600 for the maximum input variables so save the file and let's go back to our wordpress theme system status page and refresh to see if the changes hi there you go it worked that's it give it a go and leave your comment below is this big fear problem or not and I'll see if I can help you if you need any virtual help visit listening va.com and i'll be happy to listen to your needs and ideas I'm here to get the job done right and pass thank you for watching .
This could happen to you if ever you installed other themes or plugins that require you to change these default limits
And the solution may different depending on your hosting plan.
If you don't want to get you hands dirty with the codes, then I suggest you just contact your web hosting and request for a change of these limits. But of course that will take time – and I understand if you don't have that time to wait.
So here's a fast solution.
BTW, I am using GoDaddy's ecomony package which a shared hosting.
You just have to go to your file manager and in the root folder which /public_html, create a new file with a name .user.ini
Make sure that there is . before the user.ini because you might easily get confused with this name.
So. Once you have this new file, edit it and paste this code here.
max_input_vars = 10000;
max_execution_time = 36000;
The code is in the description of this video that you can copy.
You just have to change the value depending on what your theme or plugin recommends.
