How To Forward Your Hostgator Email To Your Gmail Inbox

as a ten round here in this quick video chat or I’m going to basically teach you how to forward all the email that goes to your email account with Hostgator and have all the email go to your gmail inbox and the reason why we’re going to do this is you know a lot you know we’re in business for ourselves we run online businesses but you what you want to basically have a professional email address and you can do that if you have your own a domain
host gator you can with Hostgator you have as many councils you basically want you know with email so for example I have one right here which says support at telecom and this is the basically the one I use a form people wanna you know have you know I have support questions to have any technical questions I basically hand out at that address and it’s professional looking and has my you know it’s has my domain name there obviously tyronn oracle com
and it’s a more professional looking domain than say for example you know Tyrone 78 gmail com but at the same time you basically want to have all that email go to your your primary email account you know most people when they check in their email they check out with Gmail or Yahoo or you know hotmail or something like that so basically what you want to do is I’m going to basically just create an account so I’ll just put support water sport one
towel rack live com I’ll just generate a password they have this password generator just created I’ll pace that there and it’s going to ask you what you want your quota to be you can have it where it just goes up to 500 I’m just going to put unlimited hung in a creative account ok so here we go so we have it right here copy that so now what I’m going to do is I’m going to go to this gear right here in the upper right hand corner this is going to
be your settings I’m going to go down to settings now i’m going to go to something that says accounts and under the sendmail as section I’m going to go to add another email address you alone I’m just going to do that and I’m basically just going to paste in the name of the email address right there I’ll go to the next step right here I’m just going to skip that that’ll be for another tutorial it’s a little more technical it just basically has to
do with the from address when you send email you can decide if you want to use the servers on my domain that’s host with Hostgator or the one with gmail I’m just going to skip that that’s a little more a little more advanced all right i’ll just stick with the default settings on that one so now what I’m going to do is it’s going to basically send a verification email to my email account with Hostgator you know just going to basically verify that
you know I own a control that account it’ll send an email with a link in it or something like that so I’m just going to click on that ok so I’m going to close that out real quick then I just basically go to that account that I’ve just created with Hostgator and you can decide which email client you want to use it doesn’t really matter I just I’ll click use horde if I can’t send the email that’s okay because I can resend the evening you send that
some reason obviously some of you in this tutorial that’s not working for me BAM here we go there’s our email click on that and then basically verify or clicking on that and there you go confirmation success so now what you do is you just basically use this email address to basically hand out to people you know they know if they have support cushions or you have questions about whatever and now all that email will go to that account first within
