How to forward website domain in godaddy – Redirect website in godaddy 2020

In this video we will see how to forward or redirect website domain to another in godaddy cpanel account.

First we need to log into godaddy account and next click manage under web hosting section and again click cpanel admin tab in the next page.

In Cpanel settings page, scroll down to domain section and click and enter domains redirects page.

We can redirect the website domain name permanently to another domain or we can redirect it temporarily to direct visitors to a product launch page or the blog page. Here, for this video we can select and direct the domain temporarily.

If we leave this entry as public domains then all domains in the webhost will be directed to a single domain.

But in this video we will direct one specific domain to another domain.

So lets select the website domain which we want to forward in this field. If we want to forward a specific directory like a store or blog we can type the same here.

Next, in this field we can select the website domain where we want to forward the other website domain to.

And here we can select the forward domain prefix with www before the domain, or optional with or without the prfix www before the domain or completely without the prefix.

11. And finally click Add to end the process, and done, re-directing the website domain from furnish labs to info-mercia.

We can confirm the same by viewing on the browser, and done. web visitors visiting furnish labs will be directed to info-mercia.

If you want to remove the domain re-direction all you need is to delete it here under domain redirect settings page. And done.
