How to Embed the Visitor Analytics Tracking Code on your Wix website:
To get the most out of Visitor Analytics’ features, you have to install an additional tracking code on your website. It’s very easy to do it and it will give you access to amazing features like Heatmaps, which enable you to identify what parts of your website visitors interact with the most and the least. Or Visitor Recordings, that enables you to record & play real videos of what your visitors actually do on your website!
Don’t worry, embedding the tracking code will only take 30 seconds!
To get started, copy the provided tracking code that you need to install on your website.
Scroll down in the modal to Open Tracking & Analytics for your website and click on the link. This will open the “Tracking Tools & Analytics” section of your website.
In the opened page, click on New tool and select the option Custom.
Now simply paste your copied code here. Name it “Visitor Analytics” so that you can easily identify it afterwards.
Select “Add the code to all pages” and “load code once”. Also choose the option “place the code in the head”.
Apply the changes by clicking on the apply button.
Now go back to the Visitor Analytics app and check whether the tracking code was installed successfully by clicking this button.
