everybody thanks for tuning in for this tutorial and this one we're going to talk about going on ahead and wiping out your cPanel on GoDaddy so let's say you had a website that you're working on or a hosting account that you are working on there and you just you were getting in the beginnings of it and you were messing around and just seeing how things worked and you pretty much screwed everything up but you know how things work now and that's normal everyone does it I still do it to this day where I'll fire up a website and just destroy it – all heck and and then just completely wipe it out and then build a new one because I've learned whatever I've had to learn so you create like a sandbox for yourself so today we're going to talk about what do you do when you want to just start out with a whole fresh cPanel on GoDaddy so the first thing you're going to want to do is come into your account you're at that my account screen with GoDaddy and then you'll click on the plus button by web hosting you're going to go into your web hosting account here mine happens to be we move websites and we're just going to click the manage button when we do that that page is going to load and it's going to take us directly into our cPanel you can see here I already had it open at a tab so you can see that it we got all of our icons and everything how to do certain things change your PHP add mail WordPress which is what we're working with there all kinds of neat stuff and all in case you didn't know you can reorganize your cPanel with GoDaddy in case you use databases or preferences you can do this pretty cool but not why we're here today so what we're going to want to do is just get rid of this whole thing we connect write websites comm is already connected there's a just a base install of WordPress on it nothing in it and you can see that it is in fact pointing to the IP address of my cPanel we're going to use what's my DNS net and show that we're pointing to the correct IP of our cPanel so you can see the 4.70 4.70 so our website is connected and it's showing but we want to get rid of it so if you're in this front panel here you click on this one here change main domain so click that once and when it loads we get this so it's going to ask us if we want to change our main domain name but that's not what we want to do it's going to ask us if we want to change our password we don't want to do that so domain no password no but we want to reset the account and it gives you a little message here it's not going to delete your domain but it's going to delete everything else off that hosting account reset account type the word reset and now that's going to go through the process of wiping out the the entire cPanel that's what that's doing now it's going to start up just as a fresh account just like you never did anything on the hosting account at all so give that a moment see if it takes our sight down yep so you can see that our site is going down right now the domain itself is still attached to the IP address you can see that here but we'll change that later and now future home of something quite cool looks like we have a managed wordpress install in here but our cPanel our cPanel is completely gone so for this video I'm going to end it here you know how to delete your cPanel and reach and get it you know to a point where you can set it up initially again and and see this this first setup screen to pick a domain and add your panel so check out the next video we're going to talk about how to install WordPress and how to get going .
