Video Discription

In this tutorial, you will learn How to Create a Sub-Domain in Bluehost. If you don’t know the difference a Domain and a Sub-Domain, you can check my tutorial in the Bluehost tutorials playlist below. Essentially, once you create a sub-domain from your main domain, it is treated as a new domain on which you can build a whole new website on.

In order to create a sub-domain in Bluehost: (1) log into your account; (2) next, go to the Domains section; (3) and then go to the Sub-Domains section; (4) Enter the name of your sub-domain into the appropriate box; (5) use the drop-down menu to choose your domain; (6) enter the Document Root (which should automatically populate); (7) and finally, click Create.

You will get a confirmation once the sub-domain is created and it will be listed down in your Bluehost account. You can then install WordPress on it (for example) and start building your website on it. You can check my WordPress tutorials on how to create a website.
