One of the examples here is having an educational website which you might restrict some content for members who have a teaching role rather than a student role. This is what we are going to share with you through this tutorial.
In order to apply this on your Wix website, you should go to your Wix dashboard on the left side of the page and navigate to the 'edit site' button that is found right at the bottom of the page. Clicking on this button will open the Wix website editor for you. On the 'menu and pages' tab, you will want to set the pages which you want to restrict as 'members only' pages.
In order to create a member role, from your website dashboard you will need to click on 'contacts and CRM' tab which you will find on the left side of the page and from there you will choose the 'member permissions' button. Now click on the 'add new role' button which you are going to find at the top right corner of the page which will open a new page for you that you will need to fill out all its details; the role name, description and the role color. When you are done with filling these details, you will just click on 'save'.
In this role which you have just filled it's details, click the 'add members' button which you will find on the right side of the window that you will get and choose the members which you would like to add to this role and click 'add'.
Go back to the members permissions tab and click 'set permissions' which you will find at the top and this will allow you to choose which roles could access which pages.
When you are finished from doing all these edits, don't forget to click 'save' in order to keep everything as you have created it.
