How to Change PHP Settings in GoDaddy – Save Yourself $70

How to change the PHP setting in GoDaddy tutorial

I use Optimizepress to build my sites, you can find this here: https://marklaxton.com/optimizepress-discount

After having problems upload Optimizepress Plugin and receiving a message that said “The link you are following has expired” I contacted Optimizepress and they informed me I had to contact GoDaddy and change my PHP settings.

GoDaddy told me they could do it for me, but it would cost over $70 so I decided to figure this out for myself.

I’ve seen other videos showing how to change PHP settings but they either don’t have anyone explaining it or they seem difficult to follow so here are some simple steps to follow which will allow you to change your php settings in GoDaddy using Cpanel within just a few minutes…

Go to GoDaddy and click on Web Hosting – Manage All

Click on Domain Name

Click on Cpanel

Look for Software and click select php version

Click on switch to php options

Now you will be able to change the php settings to the new settings you need and remember to save your settings.
