hey what's up I'm going to show you how to build a WordPress website with Bluehost and it's just going to take us a few minutes to get to this website you don't even have to type in anything just click the link below the video or you could go to convert school comm slash Bluehost which is my affiliate link but anyway once you get to the website you'll just click get started and you'll pick your plan and then you'll get a free domain name just for signing up so go ahead and just put your domain name in and then you'll put your information in in your billing information which I won't record and then once you're in your Bluehost account you can simply go to install WordPress down here or you'll also find it under one-click install but let's go to install WordPress then I'll just go right here to continue installation and then we'll choose the domain name that we're going to install WordPress to and click Next then you'll add the name of the site and then you'll add your email address your username and password for WordPress which I won't record but once I fill it out I'll just click Next here and then you'll just simply wait for WordPress to install to your website you won't actually have to buy anything from this little marketplace here or mess with any of that just let this fully load to 100% and then you'll click view your credentials now this will give you your username and password which I'm going to change both of those and the install location if you click on install location or the web address next to it you'll be able to log in using your WordPress credentials and now we have a WordPress site so before I show you how easy it is to build your own custom web site I just wanted to let you know that we're pretty much done with Bluehost Bluehost is just a hosting company that keeps our WordPress site connected to the Internet so if you haven't already go ahead and get your website set up with Bluehost by clicking the link underneath this video and then you can customize your website like this so we'll go up here and click on this button just to take a look at it and WordPress installs a default theme which makes this picture happen and make the site of this design but if you want to change the design of your site you just go to beam's or you can click up here and go back to your dashboard click on appearance and then themes and there's plenty of free themes out there to choose from but you just click activate and then go back to your website and you should see some changes if you want to create new blog posts and pages you just go in your dashboard and you go to posts or pages and when you get in there adding images is as simple as uploading just as you would to anything like Facebook or whatever just click add media and put your text in click update or publish and you'll have a website in no time so if you go to customize right here you can change the colors background images menus you can change the title add a logo and it's really intuitive you just need basic internet skills like being able to drag and drop files and things like that so if you want to get really serious about building websites be sure to check out the rest of our videos where we do tutorials on building awesome WordPress websites thank you so much for watching this video if you haven't already check out the link at the bottom of the video and get your website going so anyway thank you so much for watching take care .
