How To Add Javascript To Wix Tutorial

what is going on guys in this video I’m going to teach you how to actually merge JavaScript with Wix I had this problem over months of months ago and I was looking how to merge JavaScript because I wanted to integrate my email autoresponder with Wix and it was so difficult what I had to do was embed the HTML which didn’t really work out too well because then it never came out to the right sizing and things like that anyway I’m gonna show you
exactly how to do it it’s gonna be a very quick video let’s get straight on a clock and into the computer ok so we’re just going to head over to Wix calm will go into any of my sites so I’m just gonna go to a random site of mine and we’ll login ok so it ok so here we are in the Wix dashboard what I’m going to do is just click manage an edit site and then we’re gonna go over to edit site here ok so what we’re going to do here is just go and add a
random page because obviously I’m just going to show you guys how this works so I’m just gonna call it test page and I’ll make it not visible on my site so we’re gonna hide that bring it all the way down to the bottom let’s just bring that down ok so if I wanted to add some random Java on to this just say I wanted to integrate my email autoresponder the difficult bit is we can’t do that because obviously if we go on to just say for example
opt-ins they say manage forms ok and just say we had for example let’s have a look this opt-in here ok so we’ve got this hair but we want to put that on Wix so if we used to save and publish it then gives us these so you can obviously you know get get response to host it so you can host it here and if we was to copy that code and embed it here this is what happens yes I was to embed the code just over here look you can see here when we do it how
it comes out so that that’s how it comes out but what the problem is is that when you publish it and you view the site let’s just say for example I view this site yet this page sorry so let’s go back down and view the page so we’re gonna go to manage pages gonna go to view this page URL okay what the problem is is when I enter my email just say enter this email – – or something let’s just make up a fake one when you click this it doesn’t work
look there’s nothing it does not work yeah and and this is the case with Wix immigrated at a time I’ll contact to customer services the same problem the same problem and I was looking for the answer everywhere now I mean with Wix you can’t install JavaScript it doesn’t allow you to do that so if we was to take this code over here and embed that so let’s just test that I shouldn’t have really closed that page let’s just leave it open yeah okay so
let’s just leave that page open if we used to go back over here it doesn’t allow you to paste it in it’s an error yeah you can try it with anything it doesn’t work so what you can do to allow you to do this is just copy a simple code now all it is is this allows script you just put that in with the two arrows okay and what that does is allow you to paste JavaScript into Wix so if we was to come over here and then add the code back in HTML frame
enter code you paste that there and then you just take the Java from here and paste it in on top so there we go apply it good great and there you go that’s your email autoresponder look at that brilliant okay so we’re just going to head over to the test page again and we’re just going to view this URL so the over here okay so there is and we’re going to do two two two two two at gmail.com okay and that’s it so now it’s taken us over because
