Σ Sigma Hosting is mainly a video tutorial website
in this video we're going to take a look at installing WordPress on bluehost using simple scripts it so it's called one-click install and so you log into your bluest account or if you've got another hosting provider that uses cpanel it should be on be more or less the same and we go down there so simple scripts and click on that and there we are with simple scripts now I've actually gone installation already on here this is the actually the website you're looking at so I'm going to install another one so we scroll down to WordPress and click the install button okay now you need to select the domain name you're going to install it on and we do it should actually be quite simple if it's the first install now as I've got multiple installs on here this is the one I'm going to use a test website it's a sub domain but yours would just be www domain name name is that and we're going to install into the root folder so we're not going to put anything in here and you can see underneath it actually tells you the path to that folder just check to make sure that makes sense to you and then once we're happy there we just complete click the box and then we see the install okay now this is very important screen you can see here now there is actually given me the admin Nate the username and password now it will actually email this to you your email address but it's a good idea to take a make a note of this just copy the password that because you can need that to login I just copied out to notepad there we go yeah and that's it we're finished now we got the WordPress installed and last thing to do really is to just give it a quick check okay to check it we just click the link here and it loads there we can see there's the WordPress installation now we just need to log into their to manage it and that's we cover it in another video that's it for this video until next time bye .
Simple scripts make it easy to install and upgrade many applications like WordPress.
Bluehost now recommend using simple scripts instead of Fantastico. However Fantastico is still available and any old installs can still be managed by it.
Although this guide is for Bluehost it can be used any Cpanel hosting provider.
