The legacy of a million Makers Of The Web goes all the way back to one website: the world’s first website CERN. As a nod to where it all started, GoDaddy Pro partnered with Web designer Paweł Zadrożniak to code the Happy Birthday song out of 1991 technology — everything from floppy disks to bulky monitors and the original model of the computer. Watch Pawel’s ingenious creation, The Floppotron, play out the birthday song in a mechanical orchestra for the world’s first website. Here’s Happy Birthday from one old computer to another.
