Σ Sigma Hosting is mainly a video tutorial website

Σ Sigma Hosting is mainly a video tutorial website that make it easier for you to search within the transcript of videos for solutions of problems you might face during your journey in dealing with different webhosting companies. So, we are very sorry if the text is not well organized and we may work on it in the future but for now we hope you get the benefit mainly from the video then you may need to have a look on the transcript. Thanks for your understanding 🙂

To start we go to the blog to which we want to add a custom domain. In the options we give "configuration" Then in the direction of the blog we add the domain that we want to personalize with its "www." ahead; then we click save. This will generate an error since the domain is not yet configured (it must be done in this order to obtain the data with which the domain will be configured). We go to our NAMECHEAP account, we search in our "DOMAIN LIST" the domain that we want to use and we give it in "MANAGE". Then when opening the domain options, we go to "ADVANCED DNS".

This is where we start to configure the "CNAME RECORD" in "HOST RECORDS", we click on "ADD NEW RECORD", to add a new "CNAME RECORD". Here we will begin to copy and paste the data that our blogger account gave us when giving an error. (The data is different for each blogger). When configuring new domains, you have already created a "CNAME RECORD" that has "HOST" "www", in case you have it like in this video, the one that brings NAMECHEAP by default is erased. After this we make sure that our domain has "URL REDIRECT RECORD" configured, in case of not having it we configure it by putting "@" first as data and then the domain URL as "http://www.nuestrodominio.com".

In new domains it comes "configured", but without the "www" so you have to delete it and add it with the "www." After verifying that everything is correct, we wait a couple of hours for everything to be updated correctly and finally, we go to BLOGGER and accept the use of the new domain, now without giving us an error. We test that everything is working. .
