SiteGround vs HostGator comparison review – Watch this comparison between Siteground and HostGator in 2022, the pros and cons of each to see which fits your needs best. SiteGround vs HostGator: Which is Better? (2022) Transcript:
Hello everyone Carson here and in today’s video, I am going to be comparing siteground and Hostgator and telling you which one is better for you. Now before we do get into this video, just a reminder that I actually have both of these platforms linked in the description at a special discount, so you can check them out and purchase them at a discounted price. And of course, remember to leave like subscribe, and hit that notification bell. So every single time I upload you are notified. And now let’s get into the comparison. Now. siteground and Hostgator are two very, very popular and major forces in the hosting market. They are both well known and very good hosting platforms. But if you are looking to see which one is better, I’m going to answer that in this video.
Before I get into the specific details though, I always like to answer a very quick TLDR of which one’s better in case you don’t have the time to stick around and watch the entire review. So if you are looking for the better one, overall, Hostgator is the better all round hosting service. In fact, in my opinion, it’s one of the top three web hosting services in the market for 2022, which just makes it a stellar pick for you if you are going to go with some website hosting. Now Hostgator overall is priced much cheaper than siteground with their starter plans starting at 275 a month, whereas siteground starter plans start at around 699 per month, which is quite a steep jump in price. Once again, of course, this is going to Hostgator now Hostgator and siteground.
For ease of use and features, they’re both pretty comparable, albeit having different customer bases and different areas in which they specialize. Hostgator provides more all around hosting services for reliable hosting on a more moderate to medium size scale. Whereas siteground is more built for resource intensive sites in need of super high quality tech support, and more custom plans now Hostgator and siteground. Both have over 99 point 99% uptime, which is pretty good. It’s what you should expect from any industry leader. So the uptime is actually very comparable. Now siteground actually doesn’t include a free domain in their plans, but Hostgator does so that one has to go to Hostgator overall. And in conclusion, though, I think the main key point, what you need to take out of this video is the price difference and the difference in what customer base they serve.
Because 99% of users don’t need a really highly advanced technical area of hosting, like siteground provides, they are more focused on that upper levels of hosting that isn’t necessarily higher performance, but just as more customizable and labor intensive. Whereas Hostgator is just an all around great platform and undoubtedly does take the lead over siteground in this comparison. So if I have to give it a winner, it’s definitely going to be Hostgator because obviously I’ve said before, they are actually in my top three web hosts of 2022. They’re undoubtedly just a great platform and I highly recommend them so if you do want to check them out, head down to my link in the description where I will have Hostgator linked Thanks for watching.
