HostGator vs GreenGeeks, which one is better or more importantly which one is better for your web hosting needs? Well, I did all of the testing so you can find out exactly that! HostGator vs. GreenGeeks Compared (2022) – 1 Clear Winner! Transcript: Hello everyone Carson here and today I am going to be reviewing Hostgator and greengeeks. And comparing these two platforms now Hostgator is one of the most popular web hosting platforms on the market and for good reason. But the question is, how does greengeeks compare to hostgator. And in this video, I am going to be answering that so stick around. And also remember, I’ve got links in the description, where you can check out more details and receive special discounts.

Also, of course, if you enjoy my content, I have to ask you to leave a like, subscribe, and hit that notification bell because that helps me out. And I also have a bunch of discounts available on my channel, so it helps you out as well. And now let’s get started. Now the first category I need to compare is page loading time. And in page loading time, it’s incredibly close Hostgator takes around 691 milliseconds to load, whereas greengeeks takes around 697.

Now honestly, both of those speeds are very good. And both of those platforms are very close to each other. So in terms of speed, I’m honestly tempted to give this a tie between the two platforms, because of how incredibly close they are. Although Hostgator technically did perform better, it’s so close, so I am going to give them a tie in this category. Next up in ease of use Hostgator undoubtedly takes a win here. They provide their own custom drag and drop Website Builder that’s developed in house, they provide a one click WordPress installer, and they let you manage your account from your own cPanel.

So undoubtedly, I have to give this one to hostgator. greengeeks does provide a very basic builder with their plans. But I just feel like for ease of use greengeeks isn’t really up to date and modern enough, whereas Hostgator is constantly being updated. It’s constantly top of the line technology, so I have to give this one to hostgator. Next up in a comparison between features. This is actually a tie again, with neither of these platforms really pulling ahead of the other. both platforms actually offer different features where they are better and where they are worse, but in a lot of things like their free domain name from one year.

And like all of their features and their multitude of plans, they are incredibly similar, so I have to give them a tie. Next up in support and documentation. The winner is definitely hostgator. They have an incredibly large knowledge base, which just pushes them over the edge. It contains over 680 help articles, and 500 plus video tutorials as well, like not many hosting companies can claim that and that’s honestly a great benefit. So Hostgator undoubtedly wins in the support category. Honestly, Hostgator provides some of the best, if not the best support on the market. And although greengeeks is very good in their customer support as well, it’s nothing to scoff at Hostgator just definitely sweeps this one, there’s really no other platform, I can think of off the top of my head that provides as cohesive and as absolute support as Hostgator does.

For example, taking a look at this the shared hosting, they offer for 278, whereas greengeeks is around 295. Now WordPress hosting Hostgator actually jumps above greengeeks at 595 per month, whereas greengeeks is 295 per month. But Hostgator is WordPress hosting is actually cloud based, which does kind of make this price jump worth it and understandable. Next up for Cloud Hosting greengeeks doesn’t even offer it so Hostgator takes the win there for VPS hosting is where Hostgator really shines coming in at around 20. Whereas greengeeks is quite literally double that.

hello everyone carson here and today i am going to be reviewing hostgator and green geeks and comparing these two platforms now hostgator is one of the most popular web hosting platforms on the market and for good reason but the question is how does green geeks compare to hostgator and in this video i am going to be answering that so stick around and also remember i’ve got link in the description where you can check out more details and
receive special discounts also of course if you enjoy my content i have to ask you to leave a like subscribe and hit that notification bell because that helps me out and i also have a bunch of discounts available on my channel so it helps you out as well and now let’s get started now the first category i need to compare is page loading time and in page loading time it’s incredibly close hostgator takes around 691 milliseconds to load whereas
green geeks takes around 697 now honestly both of those speeds are very good and both of those platforms are very close to each other so in terms of speed i’m honestly tempted to give this a tie between the two platforms because of how incredibly close they are although hostgator technically did perform better it’s so close so i am going to give them a tie in this category next up in ease of use hostgator undoubtedly takes a win here they provide

of the line technology so i have to give this one to hostgator next up in a comparison between features this is actually a tie again with neither of these platforms really pulling ahead of the other both platforms actually offer different features where they are better and where they are worse but in a lot of things like their free domain name from one year and like all of their features and their multitudes of plans they are incredibly similar
so i have to give them a tie next up in support and documentation the winner is definitely hostgator they have an incredibly large knowledge base which just pushes them over the edge it contains over 680 help articles and 500 plus video tutorials as well like not many hosting companies can claim that and that’s honestly a great benefit so hostgator undoubtedly wins in the support category honestly hostgator provides some of the best if not the
best support on the market and although green geeks is very good in their customer support as well it’s nothing to scoff at hostgator just definitely sweeps this one there’s really no other platform i can think of off the top of my head that provides as cohesive and as absolute support as hostgator does finally in a comparison of the pricing hostgator does pull ahead hostgator offers on most of their plans a very cheaper price than green geeks
for example taking a look at this the shared hosting they offer it for 278 whereas green geeks is around 295. now wordpress hosting hostgator actually jumps above green geeks at 5.95 per month whereas green geeks is 2.95 per month but hostgators wordpress hosting is actually cloud-based which does kind of make this price jump worth it and understandable next up for cloud hosting greengeeks doesn’t even offer it so hostgator takes the win there
for vps hosting is where hostgator really shines coming in at around 20 whereas green geeks is quite literally double that and for dedicated hosting is very much the same with hostgator starting at 119 per month and green geeks starting at 169 per month so in the pricing i’m definitely gonna give this one to hostgator i think consistently they perform better in pricing than green geeks does green geeks just doesn’t provide the pricing i guess
they’re just not big enough of a platform to provide that super bulk and super cheap quality you know hosting services so although green geeks is a good platform in their own right the pricing definitely goes to hostgator and of course finally just to recap i believe both of these platforms are very good green geeks provides you know very unique service and they have their sustainability but in the end hostgator undoubtedly wins this comparison
there are not many platforms like hostgator hints why i’ve actually ranked hostgator as one of my top three platforms of 2021 which is seriously a very very good like you know title for them to hold because of how many platforms i’ve reviewed so hostgator is undoubtedly one of the greatest platforms out there and overall in this comparison they take the win so if you do want to check out hostgator and receive special discounts go ahead and just
drop down to my link in the description where you can check out hostgator and receive your own special coupon code on your hostgator purchase thanks for watching though remember to leave like subscribe and hit that notification bell and i will see you in the next video
